This is quite a very late post but it’s just because I’ve been quite busy. Well, I’m a new graduate and it feels good to have completed yet another thing, first it was the primary school, then high school, and now university. I feel so pumped to have graduated, and like I wrote in my yearbook, ‘I’m ready for the next phase of my life’.
What I used to hear about the university before I got in was totally different from what I actually saw, some undersold it and there were those that exaggerated the experience. And then there are those movies that we watch(you know the ones), that gives you an idea of what it feels like, only for us to experience something else.
My experiences however, with the school, the lecturers, people, and even the place has been an extremely beautiful experience. I learnt a lot about myself these past few years, found out who I am, and caught a glimpse of the future me even. And I’ve got to tell you, I’m quite satisfied with what I see. I made friends who seem like family to me, they’ve been there through everything, my study buddies, my chefs, my prayer partners, everyone has been awesome, and have made an effort into showing me who I am.
Funny how before I got here, I though I was going to be an outdoors person, only for me to get here and fall in love with my room, my bed, my books, the bible, and my laptop. Don’t even get me started on church, their love for me is just beautiful(thumbs up BLW North Cyprus), they shower people with so much love that you just have to give it back else you’d feel smothered. Building up my relationship with the Holy Spirit has also been awesome, because that took me to a new level with my faith.
I thank God for the success, my family has been the most powerful pillar. Their love, support and examples cannot be overemphasized. You can’t help but turn out great when you’re born into the Amusa family. It’s been an awesome ride so far, and I would give anything if I had the chance to choose this place again for my undergraduates.
I love everyone that has been there for me. Thank you so much guys, I really do appreciate it.
P.s. Babtee, there are no words for how much I appreciate and love you, you’ve been absolutely awesome and amazing. Glad I met you, and it’s funny how my dad got along with you most of all.
