Hey guys,
     I’ve had something on my mind for a very long time now, and it almost seems as if I just can’t pretend as if it’s not there anymore. And this is for the ladies , I’m sorry if you feel offended that I’m on your cases but it’s only because I can understand it. Why do you always look for a flaw? You hear people compliment you, and instead of being grateful you say, ‘I don’t believe you, don’t you see that my tummy is big?, I have yam legs, I don’t have the hour glass figure, etc’.
    Do you know how irritating it is to get that kind of response when I genuinely compliment you. I don’t see why it seems to be a well accepted thing, especially in Nigeria where we think that being inferior about one part of our body is accepted. Don’t you think Gid took his time when He was creating you, He didn’t waste His time on you did he?
   Now let me set you straight in case you still haven’t gotten the memo, you’re not a mistake. He even said that before you were formedHe knew, so tell me why you should think not appreciating a part of you is acceptable. And to tell you the truth, that seems like you have a low self esteem, which is not something to be proud of.
     So I’d like to beg you ladies to please work on your self esteem issues. If you have to record yourself saying that you’re beautiful and you have a wonderful body, then you just might believe it, you shouldn’t have to wait for someone else to tell you. Don’t you know that what you say about yourself is more important than what someone else says about you. So enjoy everyday of your life, take it one day at a time, and learn to accept compliments.
